A diaphragm compressor primarily consists of a motor, crankshaft, piston, diaphragm, cylinder, and gas compression chamber. Its operating principle is as follows:
1. When the motor starts, the crankshaft drives the piston to reciprocate within the cylinder. This piston movement pushes the hydraulic oil in the cylinder, which in turn deforms the diaphragm.
2. The diaphragm separates the cylinder from the gas compression chamber. When the hydraulic oil pushes the diaphragm toward the gas compression chamber, the volume of the gas compression chamber decreases, compressing the gas within.
3. The compressed gas is discharged through the outlet valve, completing the compression process. Simultaneously, the inlet valve opens, allowing new gas to enter the gas compression chamber, preparing for the next compression cycle.
4. As the piston returns, the hydraulic oil returns to the cylinder, the diaphragm returns to its original position, and the volume of the gas compression chamber increases, drawing in new gas.
In this way, a diaphragm compressor can continuously compress gas. It is worth mentioning that due to the presence of the diaphragm, the oil cylinder and the gas compression chamber are completely separated, thus ensuring the purity and safety of gas compression.
