1. Refrigerated dryers are ideally installed in buildings with an ambient temperature of 2°C to 35°C (2°C to 40°C for water-cooled models) and good ventilation and clean air. If indoor ventilation is poor, ventilation and exhaust equipment should be installed in the machine room.
2. A certain distance should be maintained between the refrigerated dryer and the air compressor. The vibration generated by the air compressor should be prevented from affecting the normal operation of the refrigerated dryer.
3. If the vibration transmitted from the air compressor to the refrigerated dryer through the pipe is large, flexible joints should be used in the pipe to eliminate vibration.
4. For older, poorly performing air compressors, or if the compressed air discharged contains a large amount of oil, an oil filter should be installed before the dryer to prevent excessive oil from entering the dryer and affecting its normal operation.
5. The refrigerated dryer should be installed horizontally on a flat concrete floor. Because the machine generates minimal vibration, anchor bolts are not required.
6. A certain distance should be maintained between the refrigerated dryer and the building walls.
7. Water-cooled refrigerated dryers should have a cooling water source. A water filter should be installed at the cooling water inlet. The water temperature should not exceed 32°C. The flow rate should be no less than 0.2 T/h per cubic meter of air processed.
8. The outlet of the automatic drain should be connected to a plastic hose directly into a drain ditch to prevent contamination of the production site. The drain ditch should be lower than the outlet of the automatic drain.
9. Before using the inverted drum automatic drain used in large dryers, the drain must be filled with clean water to create a water seal, and then the valve in front of the drain must be opened. Otherwise, the drain outlet will leak.
